It is our desire to make everyone’s stay at Lake Vista Retreat relaxing, comfortable and memorable. Our policies are in place to help with this goal and to assure your entire experience, from reservation to check out, is seamless.

cancellation & Deposit

Please be sure of your plans before booking.  As a small property dealing exclusively with advance reservations, date changes and cancellations affect us significantly.

A non-refundable deposit equaling half of your stay will be charged at booking.  The remainder will be charged 30 days prior to check in. Cancellations must be made prior to 30 days of arrival in order to avoid the full room fee. If you have any concerns about possibly having to cancel, we recommend purchasing inexpensive trip cancellation insurance.

 

occupancy

Occupancy is limited to two people per room.  Occupancy is governed by fire regulations, licensing, insurance, and available space.  We want all our guests to be both safe and comfortable.

 

check-in and check-out

Check-in: after 4:00 PM.
Check-out: before 10:00 AM.

Charges will apply for late check-outs.

 

For the comfort and safety of all our guests there is no smoking permitted anywhere on the property. 

Guests may be asked to leave at any time if there is any smoking on the property. If requested to leave the entire amount of the stay will be non-refundable. Guest will be liable for the cost to clean any smoke residue, and for any time that the property will have to be closed for cleaning.

Pets are not permitted. Service Animals are the exception to this rule. Cleaning fee of $50 per night of stay.  Refundable $200 damage deposit required at time of booking.  If there is damage greater than $200, the guest agrees to pay, upon receipt, for the full amount of the actual damages incurred plus any lost income.  Guests may be asked to leave if at any time the service animal is out of control or causing a disturbance.  If requested to leave the entire amount of the stay will be non-refundable.
